Nationally and Internationally Recognized Educator Join VUST

“It is my great honor and privilege to announce,” said Dr. Martin Ma, Chair of VUST’s Board of Trustees, “that Dr. JieQi Chen, a nationally and internationally recognized educator, joined VUST and will serve as the Chair of the Advisory Committee of Accreditation and Institutional Assessment. Dr. Chen received her Ph.D. in Education from Tufts University and then did research as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Harvard University. She was a Senior VP for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty at Erikson Institute for many years. Dr. Chen had been a key member and the Chair of the Accreditation Committee at Erikson Institute from 1999 to 2020. Therefore, Dr. Chen will provide outstanding leadership and expert guidance to VUST.”
